The articles herein are chilling and designed to clean out the cob webs in our mental closets, so that we can always remember, but continue to move forward. This is a real life ministry, not afraid to address real issues which are barriers to progress. In this edition of the QUARTERLY, I look at 208 years of slavery (1655 - 1863) from the perspective of the slave holder and the "151 years of  Jim Crow Slavery" (1863 to 2020), from the perspective of the victim, and the impact that such a legacy continues to have on a large segment of the African American and American society, recognizing that, in another 51 years, these slave years and free years will even out.  It is also important to point out that it is predicted in those 51 years, that African American Wealth will equal zero percent. At the end of slavery in 1865, Black Wealth was calculated to be at 2% of that of White America.  Therefore, African Americans must neutralize and reverse the impact that slavery has had on our African American society. So, by taking the time now, to acknowledge these issues, and by taking a personal inventory, and then implementing the Personal Development Action Plan, outlined herein. We can all reverse this devastatingly negative trend.

We also acknowledge that segment of White America and freed Black Men and Women who fought against slavery, that has helped Black America to progress from the grips of Slavery, Black Codes and Jim Crow. All I can say, is that we fought, bled and died together for our freedom and we are all in this together.  So, let's us continue to grow!

I apologize for the length. I got started and couldn't stop, but I tried to develop a complete perspective. Too many of us have no connection to history and therefore no connection to each other.
